Overview

Identity that works as hard as you do

Your brand is the sum of every impression you make — the logo is just where people start. We build the whole system: the strategy that defines what you stand for, the visual identity that expresses it, and the guidelines that keep it sharp everywhere it appears.

What brand identity design really is

Most people think branding means a logo. In reality, a logo is the tip of a much deeper structure. True brand identity work begins with positioning: who you serve, why you're different, and what promise every customer interaction has to keep. From there we define a brand personality — are you the bold challenger or the trusted specialist? — and translate that into messaging pillars, a naming system where relevant, and a tone of voice that sounds like you on a website, an invoice, and an Instagram caption alike.

Only then does the visual work begin. We design logo systems — not just a primary mark, but responsive lockups for every context: the full lockup for your website header, a stacked version for packaging, a simplified icon for favicons and app icons, and monochrome variants for single-color applications. Around the mark we build the identity system: a considered color palette with defined roles, typography pairings selected for readability and character, iconography, pattern and texture language, and photography or illustration direction. Every element is documented in brand guidelines so your team, your printers, and your future agencies all produce work that looks unmistakably like you.

Who it's for — and the Tayr Digital difference

This service is for startups that need to launch with credibility instead of looking like a weekend project; for established businesses whose DIY logo no longer matches their ambition; and for companies entering new markets or premium segments where perception sets the price. It's also for founders who've watched competitors with weaker products win on brand presence alone — and decided not to lose that fight again.

What sets our approach apart is that we're a full digital agency, not a logo shop. Our designers think in systems, not deliverables: every identity is stress-tested against real-world use — how it renders at 16 pixels in a browser tab, how it photographs on packaging, how it animates in a social reel, how it scales across a full website we might build next. We run competitor audits before sketching so your identity owns a distinct visual territory instead of echoing the category clichés. And because we handle web, social, and content in-house, your brand launches as a complete, consistent presence rather than a logo file you don't know how to use.

FAQ

Branding questions, answered

What's the difference between a logo and a full brand identity?+

A logo is a single mark. A brand identity is the complete system around it: strategy and positioning, color palette, typography, iconography, photography direction, tone of voice, and usage guidelines. A logo alone can't carry a business consistently across a website, packaging, and ads — a full identity can. We offer both, but recommend the full system for any business serious about growth.

What does your branding process look like?+

Every project starts with a discovery workshop covering your market, audience, competitors, and ambitions. We distill that into a brand strategy — positioning, personality, and messaging pillars — then move to creative exploration, concept presentation, refinement, and final delivery. You approve the strategy before we design a single logo, so the creative work is always grounded in business thinking.

How many logo concepts will we see?+

For identity projects we typically present two to three fully developed creative directions, each with its own rationale, mockups, and application examples — not a page of rough sketches. For logo-only engagements we present three concepts. Each direction is distinct enough to be a real choice, and the one you select is then refined through up to three rounds of revision.

Do we get the source files and full ownership?+

Yes. On final payment you receive the complete file package: vector source files (AI, EPS, SVG), print-ready PDFs, web and social formats (PNG, JPG), and your brand guidelines document. Full copyright transfers to you — no licensing catches, no files held hostage.

Can you rebrand our existing business?+

Absolutely — rebrands are a core part of our work. We audit your current brand equity, identify what to keep and what to evolve, and manage the transition plan: new identity system, rollout checklist for every touchpoint (website, social, signage, documents), and a launch narrative so customers understand the change. We can do a full revolution or a careful evolution depending on how much equity your current brand holds.

How long does a branding project take?+

A standalone logo design typically takes 2–3 weeks. A full brand identity — strategy, logo system, guidelines, and launch assets — runs 5–8 weeks depending on scope and feedback turnaround. Complex rebrands with naming work or extensive rollouts can extend to 10–12 weeks. We give you a firm timeline at proposal stage and keep to it.
